Try Out Murmellius Gymnasium

During the Murmellius Try-Out, as a Group 8 student, you can experience for yourself what it is like to attend a lesson at secondary school. We start together in the auditorium, after which you and your group will be guided to the classroom for your first lesson by current students from our school. You will attend three lessons, have the opportunity to ask questions to the teachers and, of course, to our current students, and get a taste of the atmosphere during a 'normal' school day. After the lessons, we all gather back in the auditorium, where your parent/guardian can pick you up.

Which subjects will you be taking, then? Well, you are guaranteed one subject: Classical Languages. That is the difference between a VWO and a Gymnasium; your Gymnasium diploma will list either Greek or Latin. So what exactly does that entail in Classical Languages? Come and find out during the open taster lesson afternoon at the Murmellius Try Out.

Parents/guardians are welcome to wait in the auditorium until the students have finished; there is also an opportunity to ask questions here. Naturally, we will provide a cup of coffee or tea.
