Exciting story and illustration by class 2

Children's book author Mirjam Mous visited to talk about her life as a writer and her mission: to write compelling and exciting stories that make all children enjoy reading. All second-year students had read Boy 7 beforehand, a book about a mysterious boy who has lost his memory, after which an exciting search for his identity begins.

Students had prepared interview questions in advance: where do you get your inspiration from? Would you like to live in the world of Boy 7? To what extent has your former work as a teacher influenced your stories? And what is your favorite book?

With the help of Mous' writing tips, the second-year students wrote an exciting story (excerpt) themselves. They sketched the main character during a drawing techniques workshop and designed the setting using a collage of pieces of paper and fabric. Beautiful class books are being made from the final results!
